Support and Information for Caregivers. We understand that the role of caregiver can be demanding and overwhelming at times. Research shows that family members and other caregivers who are well informed, and who feel supported, are better able to be caregivers and experience less anxiety. Our staff are knowledgeable about caregiving roles, and can provide you with local resources and information.

We offer a monthly caregiver support group facilitated by a staff member and social worker. This group runs year round on the third Thursday of the month at 6:30 pm. For more information, call 519-753-1882 and ask for Karyn.

We also offer a monthly Living With Aphasia support group to assist people with aphasia and their families and friends. The group is co-facilitated by a speech-language pathologist and social worker. The group runs monthly from October - June, on the first Thursday of the month from 6:30 - 8:30 pm. For more information, call 519-753-1882 and ask for Jan or Kaitlyn.
